As part of activities marking the 65th Independence Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the National Association of Nigerian Students – Ghana Chapter (NANS-Ghana) paid a courtesy visit to Achimota Basic School in Accra to donate essential school items.
The outreach was organized under the inspiring theme “Education Is a Right, Not a Privilege,” reflecting the association’s strong belief that every child deserves equal access to quality education, regardless of background or circumstance.
The visit served as both a celebration and a call to action — to reaffirm the role of education as the foundation of national growth and empowerment.
NANS-Ghana members presented various educational materials and supplies to support learning and create a more conducive environment for the pupils.
During the visit, the delegation also had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with some Nigerian students enrolled at Achimota Basic School.
The meeting was warm and encouraging, as the team motivated them to remain diligent, disciplined, and proud ambassadors of Nigeria in Ghana.
This act of generosity and engagement not only commemorated Nigeria’s 65 years of independence but also highlighted the association’s enduring commitment to promoting education, social responsibility, and youth development.
