The 26-year-old arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday night to seal his permanent move to the Süper Lig champions.

The former African Footballer of the Year was mobbed by thousands of passionate fans who thronged the Istanbul Airport to welcome their new signing.

The deal is expected to be officially announced today (Thursday, July 31).

The Super Eagles striker, who spent last season on loan at the club, expressed his delight to continue his incredible story with the club.

“I don’t know how to describe my feelings. I’m so excited, I’ve arrived at the place I love,” he told reporters on his arrival in Istanbul.

“I’m happy to continue with Galatasaray. My story continues.”

Osimhen had a remarkable campaign with the Yellow and Reds last term, registering 37 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.
