Nigerian content creator and streamer Peller has opened up about an alleged encounter with a football coach who attempted to sexually exploit him when he was younger.

Speaking during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Peller recounted how he unknowingly found himself in an uncomfortable situation while pursuing football as a teenager.

According to him, he was around 14 years old and had no understanding of homosexuality or the coach's alleged reputation at the time.

"I chose to play football growing up. My coach was gay, and he had been sacked from the town we were in. I didn't know all this gay stuff, and I was like 14 years old," he said.

Peller explained that players who arrived late for training were usually asked to pay a fine.

Since he often had no money, he said the coach would allegedly ask him to stay behind while the other players went to the field.

"I used to go for football training. When I went to the field late, my coach would say we should pay a fine. I didn't have money at the time. There was an unfinished building where the coach normally sat with us before we would go and play. He would tell the rest to go to the field and ask me to wait behind. He would be pressing my chest. I was still clueless about what he was doing, and I thought he was just trying to punish me," he recounted.

The content creator further alleged that the situation escalated when the coach invited him to meet at a different location under the guise of discussing something important.

"One day he asked me to meet him somewhere with something that didn't even have meaning, but I went to meet him. He had undressed himself. It was a one-room place and he asked me to sit on the bed. He then said I shouldn't worry and that he would allow me to play the full match," he shared.

According to Peller, he became alarmed when the coach locked the door. Thinking quickly, he told the coach he needed to use the washroom, then seized the opportunity to escape.

"He stood up and locked the door, but I lied to him that I wanted to pee, then I ran away. Since that day, he never saw me again," he stated.

Peller added that it was only after relocating to Lekki that he learned more about the coach's alleged history.

"When I left that town for Lekki, a friend of mine asked me about him. He asked if I knew the coach was gay. He also told me the coach had previously been sacked from another place after he was allegedly caught molesting male children," he added.
