Eden Hazard has described his first year as a Real Madrid player as "bad" and hopes to be judged by his performance next season.

The Belgian international made a switch from Chelsea last season and has only made 15 appearances with one goal and five assists in all competitions for the club.

Persistent injury has kept the Belgian from delivering for the Spanish Giants.

“My first season at Madrid is bad, but not everything is bad,” the 29-year-old told RTBF.

“It is an adaptation season. I will be judged in the second. It is up to me to be in good shape next year.

“I still have four years of contract, I hope be in good shape.”
