My father is competent - Seyi Tinubu

Seyi Tinubu son of the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, has stated that his father has the knowledge, patience, and ability to improve the lives of Nigerians.

He made this statement after receiving the chieftaincy title of "Nwannedinamba" which translates to "brother", in Anambra State on Tuesday, January 24.

The traditional king of the Mbaukwu country, Igwe Peter Anukwu, bestowed the chieftaincy title upon him and acknowledged him as Ndigbo's son-in-law as well.

Seyi, while briefing the journalists in Awka, said he was in Anambra to rally support for his father's bid for the presidency.

Jagaban's son assured the people of Awka that his father, Bola Tinubu had their best interests in mind and at heart.

He said: “Bola Ahmed Tinubu has the experience, tolerance and capacity to change the fortunes of Nigeria for the best.

“Everyone has acknowledged that his core strength is his vision for peace, progress and economic development.

“He also has a penchant for discovering, nurturing and empowering talent. Testimonies abound across Nigeria, Igbos, Yorubas, Fulanis, Efiks, Ibibios, Hausas and all the other tribes.”
