Popular on-air-personality, Rufai Oseni has described Elon Musk as the " biggest hypocrite" he has ever seen for his handling of the micro-blogging platform Twitter.

Musk who took over Twitter in October 2022 for US$44 billion has been criticized for his handling and management of the portal.

His ownership has seen several operational changes to the social media platform while internally, hundred of staff have lost their jobs.

The latest change to hit Twitter is the removal of the blue verification badges on celebrities, politicians and world leaders.

However, reacting to Musk's latest move, Rufai Oseni opined that Twitter has been saddled with a "context problem" since Musk took over.

He made the remarks on Friday, April 21 after his return to the Morning show after a short break.

"There is a problem that has happened on Twitter since Elon Musk took over it. Because you have sacked a lot of people, people that are supposed to review cases on base-to-base cases are no longer there so when people make a report, then you just go ahead...without understanding the context. So there is also a context problem there."

"The problem is what kind of social media site does he want to run because this Mr Elon Musk is the biggest hypocrite I have seen in my life. He keep talking about free speech but he is the most antagonistic of free speech. And since he has bought this platform, the platform has gone down."

Meanwhile checks by MyNigeria.com on Friday morning shows President-elect Bola Tinubu, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, and ex-Anambra Governor Peter Obi are among those deprived of their Twitter ‘legacy’ verified blue ticks.

President Muhammadu Buhari and the federal government’s accounts were spared.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo was not spared in the tsunami at Twitter.
