Nigerian businessman, medical practitioner, and activist, Mahdi Shehu has alleged that most of former President Muhammadu Buhari's ministers have fled the country.

In a post shared on Twitter, Mahdi Shehu claimed out of 43 ministers, 34 are out of the country.

He said 21 are in the United Kingdom, 8 in Dubai, 2 in Malaysia, 2 in South Africa, 2 in Rwanda, 1 in Kaduna, another 1 on Kano state, 4 in Abuja and 2 on admission in an Egypt hospital.

The activist also noted that 8 of the ministers own a private university.

He said this following the suspension of two appointees under the Buhari administration. Shortly after President Bola Tinubu assumed office, he suspended the Central Bank of Ghana Govenor, Godwin Emefiele and the EFCC chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa.

According to report, the two appointees and their offices are currently under investigation.

Reacting to his post which has over 400k views on Twitter, several Nigerians have taken to social media to share their thoughts.
