Nigerian international, Victor Moses has vowed to quickly return to action after suffering an injury setback over the weekend.

The ex-Super Eagles winger was stretched off the pitch following a serious injury in Spartak Moscow's 2-0 win against Ural in a Russian topflight encounter on Saturday, August 6.

The 31-year-old is yet to undergo surgery to determine the extent of his injury but the club reports that he will be out of action for not less than six months.

The ex-Chelsea winger took to his social media on Tuesday to express his disappointment while promising a quick return to the pitch to help his side.

He also thanked the club and his fans for their support.

“Devastated to have suffered an injury in the game at the weekend”

“I will be doing all I can to recover and get back fully fit as quickly as possible to help the team thank you so much to everyone at the club and all of the fans for your fantastic support,” the ex-Liverpool man wrote on his Twitter handle.

Moses has netted two goals in four league outings for the Russian side this season.
