Morocco's COVID-19 cases near 1000 after recording 50 new cases

The cases of coronavirus in Morocco is moving closer to 1000 after recording a total of 50 new cases as of Saturday morning, according to Worldometers.

The health ministry, Friday night, recorded a total of 70 cases that took the record to a total of 761 cases.

With six new deaths recorded between Friday and now, the death toll has risen to a total of 50 while 56 others have recovered, according to Worldometers.

After close to two weeks lockdown since the government declared a month state of a medical emergency, it is uncertain whether things will return to normal on April 20.
