Moment police defied the crowd to arrest the killers of Deborah Yakubu in Sokoto

A video has emerged showing the arrest of the killers of Deborah Samuel, a 200-level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education.

Deborah was killed and burnt to death after she was accused of blaspheming Prophet Muhammed via a WhatsApp platform.

The Security operatives were reported to have defied the pressing crowd to whisk the perpetrators of the dastard act away.

This led to the protest by the residents of Sokoto calling for the release of the two men arrested for Deborah's murder.

Following the protest, the governor of Sokoto ordered a curfew in the state.
