Moment Tinubu and Atiku met at the airport

Presidential candidates, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, recently met at the airport.

Despite political differences, the two major party flagbearers were seen exchanging pleasantries with one another like old friends.

Both Tinubu and Atiku entourages shook hands and laughed during their encounter.

Tinubu was heard asking Atiku where they were going whiles sharing laughter with a member of Atiku's camp who repeatedly called Tinubu, 'Jagaban' and in response, said 'Atiku'.

Atiku and Tinubu continue to remain friends outside the political sphere.

Confirming their relationship in an interview with Arise TV, in July, Atiku said; “I’m still a friend of him and being friends with him doesn’t mean we can’t have our political differences,” Atiku said.
