Mohbad: Police confirm Sam Larry is in custody

Music executive, MuBalogun Olamilekan Eletu who is also known as Sam Larry is in the custody of the police, the security agency has confirmed.

Sam Larry is being probed over the death of Mohbad who was a member of Marlian music.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, wrote on X: “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody.

“He is currently assisting with an ongoing investigation.”

Naira Marley who has also been fingered for the death of Mohbad claimed he is making arrangements to return to Nigeria to honour police invitation following the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death.

Mohbad died under controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023.

In a video that went viral after the singer’s death, Sam Larry could be seen invading the set of a music shoot and threatening Mohbad with armed men.
