Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie has named her current top three favourite African music artistes.

The 28-year-old snubbed Nigeria’s musical duo Davido and Wizkid.

However, the Houston Dash star named Burna Boy and Ayra Starr among her top picks.

Third on her list was another Nigerian singer and producer, Young Jonn.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN, Alozie—who is currently with the Super Falcons team for the 2024 African Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco—was asked about her current top three African music artistes, and she said:

“That’s tough. You can’t do that to me [laughs]. No! Okay, Young Jonn, Burna Boy and Ayra Starr.”
