Ekperima Ojoo has been identified as the man who is challenging incarcerated Nnamdi Kanu for the leadership of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Kanu was recently sentenced to life imprisonment for treason and terrorism, following IPOB's agitation for the restoration of the defunct Biafra Republic.
Since his sentence last year, his status as IPOB leader has been shaky. A faction of the group announced the suspension of his office and a new leadership.
The new leader has been identified by Kanu's brother, Kanunta Kanu, as Ekperima Ojoo.
Kanunta shared his picture and wrote on X, "See the Unit coordinator who is challenging Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with the assistance of their female leader."
Reacting, an X user @rapture_r said, "You are the Ekperima that jailed your brother because of greed and love for money.Cain Where is your Brother? This question is and will always be for you to http://answer.It doesn't matter how you try to deceive the gullible ones around you.DOS is wiser now than before.
@OdoChekwube said, "Cry-cry baby. Leave HDOS and get your brother out of this mess he is in,MNK is not fine in Prison."
@RalphTathagata said, "If Nnamdi Kanu isn't a heartless & soulless criminal, why did he use the millions of dollars he stole from IPOB to buy houses in Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Rwanda, etc instead of investing in the Biafra he"s claiming to restore. Nnamdi is more evil than fake pastors & politicians."
