Mazi Kanu replaces Ochonogor as Abbey Mortgage Board Chairman

Mazi Emmanuel Kanu IVI has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc.

Kanu will be replacing Chief I. B Ochonogor who retired from that position. His position is effective from February 28th, 2020.

The Board expressed appreciation to Chief Ochonogor for his peerless and exemplary leadership.

The new Chairman is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He has held executive management positions in diverse areas including oil and gas, accounting, finance, and pharmaceuticals.

He holds a B.Sc, Second Class Upper Division from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and MBA from the University of Lagos.
