Marouane Fellaini recovers from COVID-19

Belgian midfielder, Marouane Fellaini has recovered from the deadly coronavirus, according to Chinese club, Shandong Luneng.

The former Manchester United player, according to MyNigeria.com's previous report, tested positive for the deadly virus in March after travelling back to China.

The player went through a second test and according to Shandon's statement on Tuesday, the follow-up test returned negative.

“Fellaini was assessed and was deemed to have recovered and has been discharged,” the club’s statement read.

The 32-year-old is expected to spend 14 days in quarantine for further observation.
