A young man has lost an arm and fingers after he was attacked by his brother following a heated argument over something flimsy.

According to a policeman on social media, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the incident happened last week, though he failed to state the region where it happened.

He shared, "Effect of drugs Anger, and Violence. Two brothers engaged in a fight and one of them cut off his brother's hand and fingers just last week, as a result of mere argument.

"It was a horrible scene that day. We need to do more on advocacy and public enlightenment to curb abuse, misuse, production and sales of drugs, promoting tolerance, anger management, and love and unity amongst citizens, particularly amongst kinsmen.

"Fight must be discouraged. This is permanent deformity that will not heal on time, or it may not even heal at all. This should be discouraged in its totality.

"Let's all live in peace and harmony. We deserve a better and more lovely society. The matter has been investigated by the command and the perpetrator will surely be charged to court but the wound remains forever."
