Mahmood Yakubu is a professor of electoral heist - Dino Melaye

A former senator of Nigeria, Dino Melaye has stated that the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu is an expert in electoral fraud.

The former senator who took to his Twitter page to make this statement added that Mahmood Yakubu is a thief when it comes to elections.

Dino added that the manner in which Mahmood declared Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress as winner of the just concluded presidential elections was evident that he needed to retire.

He further said that Mahmood desperately made the declaration when Nigerians were 'sleeping'.

He wrote: "Prof. Mahmud Yakubu is a professor of electoral heist and an electoral thief. The way he went ahead to announce Tinubu when Nigerians were sleeping,that desperation and speed is a character of one who needed to retire what he has collected."

Dino's tweet generated mixed reactions among social media users.
