MC Oluomo working for Sanwo-Olu, shares garri to Lagosians, days to governorship election

A video of Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo sharing food with residents of Ejigbo, a suburb of Lagos has gone viral on social media.

MC Oluomo who is the Chairman of Lagos Parks and Garages Community arrived in a white SUV and distributed small-sized bags of garri to a large crowd.

An eyewitness said the former Chairman of NURTW showed up late at night and started giving out garri as a relief item.

In a video posted online, MC Oluomo could be seen sitting on the roof of a car with a woman who joined him to dispatch the item.

The election scheduled for March 18 will see incumbent Babajide Sanwo-Olu fight off stiff competition from the Labour Party candidate, Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and Abdul-Azeez Adediran who is popularly called Jandor.

With five days to go, nine governorship candidates and the leadership of their political parties in Lagos State have stepped and declared support for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The candidates under the auspices of Alliance of Registered Political Parties, formally endorsed and declared their support for the re-election bid of Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat in the election in the state in view of his achievements in the last four years.

The nine parties are; APP, ADP, APM, NRM, YPP, NNPP, ZLP, SDP and PRP.
