'MC Oluomo should be behind bars' - Twitter user

A Twitter user has suggested that the Lagos State Parks Management Committee Chairman Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo should be imprisoned for his threats against the 2023 elections.

Following the multiple threats made by MC Oluomo and the lack of sanction, the lady who goes by the username @recap_blondie claimed that she was certain that there was no democracy in Nigeria.

She wrote: "MC Oluomo's ability to escape consequences suggests a lack of democracy in our country. I believe that the govt is only promoting anarchy. This man should be behind bars. MC oluomo is also above the law? Tinubu| BVAS and IREV| Lebanese| Ben Hundeyin| The Oro| Bode Thomas| Rufai"

MC Oluomo, in a viral video, had allegedly threatened that those who would not vote for the ruling party, the APC, should stay at home.

In the video, MC Oluomo said, “Please tell them, we have begged them. If they don’t vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them that Chukwudi’s mother, if you don’t vote for us, sit down at home. Do you understand? Sit down at home.”

As the country is just hours away from the governorship election, the video has sparked a lot of conversation among Nigerians.
