A low turnout has been recorded at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja following the resumption of flights in Nigeria.

The five airlines which were approved for operation revealed that they have recorded low bookings since the resumption was announced.

Photos circulated online shows a few passengers at the departure hall where they were undergoing security check-up.

The resumption of domestic flights was announced by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, after a ban was declared in March to curb the spread of COVID-19.
