Loud cheers as Peter Obi, Alex Otti arrive Imo to campaign for Senator Achonu

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi arrived in Imo state on Monday, November 6, to campaign for Senator Athan Achonu who is contesting for the Governorship election on Saturday.

Upon Obi's arrival with Governor of Abia state, Alex Otti, several residents gathered around them in excitement at their presence.

Amid loud cheers, the residents who could not hold back their joy, chanted "Obi, LP".

The Imo state governorship election which is set to hold on November 10 is being contested by the candidates of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP), Senators Samuel Anyanwu and Athan Achonu, also seeking re-election is the Governor Hope Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress among others.

These three major candidates would struggle for the number one seat based on their popularity, political party, and capacity starting from their senatorial zones.
