Jurgen Klopp will return to Liverpool to assist Kenny Dalglish in a legends game this year, the club has confirmed.

Klopp will return to the dugout only 18 months after departing, as the Reds play Borussia Dortmund on March 28.

Some of the legends expected to feature in the match include Sami Hyypia, Fabio Aurelio, Gregory Vignal, Martin Kelly and Yossi Benayoun.

“Jürgen Klopp has joined the Liverpool FC Legends management team for the upcoming game against Borussia Dortmund Legends,” the statement read.

“Klopp will return to the Anfield dugout to assist manager Sir Kenny Dalglish for the charity match, presented by AXA and in association with Forever Reds, on Saturday March 28 (3pm GMT kick-off). Dalglish and Klopp will be joined on the touchline by LFC ambassador Ian Rush and Forever Reds chair John Aldridge.”
