A video has emerged showing top pastors and politicians in attendance at the 70th birthday celebration of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, and Presiding Bishop of the Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.
The event, held at the church’s headquarters, was a grand affair that brought together prominent clergymen and women, public officials and dignitaries from across the country.
In the video, renowned personalities such as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Mrs Fola Adeboye; former President Olusegun Obasanjo; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; the convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration, Pastor Jerry Eze, a popular online digital prayer meeting platform.
Others in attendance included, Archbishop Margaret Idahosa of Church of God Mission International; Bishop Mike Okonkwo of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, TREM; Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo; Reverend Sam Aboyeji; Pastors David and Peace Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries; Pastors Paul and Becky Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre; Bishop FEB Idahosa; Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo; Pastor Korede Komaiya; Pastor Yemi Davids; Pastor Sam Olubiyo; Pastor Shola Osunmakinde; Pastor Victor Abugo from Germany; Pastor Sam Adeyemi; and Pastor Godman Akinlabi among others.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta, Senator Gbenga Daniel and Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun were also in attendance.
The Olomu of Omu Aran, High Chiefs of the Olota of Ota, Professor Jerry Gana, members of the Senate, and House of Representatives were also present.
Some of these personalities have extended their well wishes to Oyedepo. Pastor Adeboye applauded his commitment to the ministry of God and impact on the lives of many.
President Bola Tinubu hailed Oyedepo’s contribution toward education, health and his lasting legacy.
Governor Abiodun labelled Oyedepo as a religious leader whose teachings have brought millions closer to God.
Idahosa, the wife of the late Bishop Benson Idahosa, expressed her gratitude to Oyedepo for his unwavering support over the years.
She said, “Since my husband’s passing 26 years ago, Bishop Oyedepo has stood by me, my children, and our ministry. Your spiritual lineage is vast, and my children are among those you’ve guided with the word of faith.”
One of Oyedepo’s sons gifted his father a Rolls Royce Cullinan and made a one billion naira donation towards feeding over 50,000 people at Canaanland during the celebration.
