Nigerian singer Saida BOJ has expressed disbelief over reports that actress Regina Daniels has returned to her estranged husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, likening the move to a rat that fought its way out of a trap only to voluntarily walk back into it.

In a video posted on her Instagram page on Saturday, September 5, 2026, the singer, who often describes herself as the voice of the girl child, made clear she was not buying the reconciliation narrative that has been circulating on social media following Regina's appearance at Ned Nwoko's home alongside his sons.

"I don't want to believe this. It is a lie. Regina, you went back to who?" she said.

Saida BOJ then described the development with a rat and trap analogy

"It is like a rat and a trap. When the rat first gets trapped, it struggles and fights until it escapes. Then it later comes back to the trap and gets caught again," she said.

The singer however, considered the possibility that Regina's return may have been driven by maternal instinct rather than a genuine reconciliation with her ex-husband.

"Let me believe it is because of the kids. Because while people online will say it's good she left her husband and kids, she probably misses them. That is what I want to believe," she said.

Regina Daniels' recent appearance at Ned Nwoko's residence alongside her stepsons set social media ablaze, with many interpreting it as a sign that the actress had reconciled with the politician following their widely publicised separation.
