Lawsuit filed to stop Obidients rally in Lagos

It has been reported that a lawsuit has been filed to stop Obidients (supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi) from rallying in Lagos.

According to the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Barr. Abdul Mahmud, the lawsuit is being heard by Justice Osiagor of the federal high court in Lagos.

It is said that Peter Obi, the Labour Party and some influencers are defendants.

Announcing the suit on Twitter, Mahmud tweeted;

"Suit to stop the planned Obidient rally in Lagos is being heard by Justice Osiagor, Fed High Court, Lagos. Obi, LP and some influencers are defendants. Plaintiffs' SAN moved his application but was asked by the Court to put the defendants on notice. Adjourned to 23-09-22."
