Late Kaka: Ezekwesili hails Abiodun for investigating footballer's death

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has hailed Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun for his arrest of the police officer responsible for the death of Assistant Captain and Defender of Remo Stars Football Club, Tiyamu Kazeem, popularly known as Kaka.

Taking to Twitter, the former presidential candidate for Allied Congress Party of Nigeria applauded the Ogun State Governor for the move and urged more Governors to follow suit.

She also asked Governor Abiodun to compel President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari to stop sleeping on the wheels.



MyNigeria.com on Saturday reported that the footballer was murdered by a member of the Special Anti Robbery Squad from the Ogun State Command who pushed the player to his death.

Moved by the incident, Ogun State Governor promised to look into the matter and get justice for the deceased. However, five persons have been feared dead over the protests organised by well-meaning individuals to seek justice.
