Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Peter Obi, was greeted by a large crowd as he arrived in Kado-Kuchi in Abuja to campaign for the party's candidates ahead of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) council election.

With the chairmen and councillors in the FCT area councils elections scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, supporters could be heard saying, “Our vote must count!”

A video that has since gone viral shows party loyalists welcoming the former presidential candidate.

There were also heard chanting slogans and expressions of support for the ADC.

The campaign is aimed at mobilizing voters in communities across the FCT ahead of the polls.
