Lamidi Apapa, I heartily congratulate you for defeating fake statistics in court - Omokri berates LP

Reno Omokri, a presidential aide, has berated the leadership of the Labour Party over their decision to contest President Bola Tinubu's victory in the 2023 elections.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, Omokri said if the Labour Party could not win a legal tussle over the chairmanship of their party how do anyone expect them to win the court case to make Peter Obi president.

He wrote; "They cannot even win a court tussle over the chairmanship of their party, and they think they can win a court case seeking to make Obi the President of Nigeria?"

The PDP chieftain also applauded Lamidi Apapa, the factional leader of the Labour Party who challenged Julius Abure for the position of national chairman.

"Lamidi Apapa, I heartily congratulate you for defeating fake statistics in court today!" Omokri tweeted.

Recall that Lamidi Apapa was in the news following his move to emerge as the national chairman of the Labour Party and accused Peter Obi and Julius Abure of masterminding an attack on him at the court premises.

Despite Omokri been a member and staunch supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who was known to campaign for Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the party, he has been spotted taking to the defence of President Bola Tinubu.

He also continue to slam Peter Obi and the Labour Party supporters for challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential election following their lose.
