A Nigerian social media user, identified on X as Lush the Perfume Plug, has taken a dig at actress Iyabo Ojo over the recent announcement of her grandson's birth.

Recall that Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram to welcome her grandson, Ayomide Mbakala, on August 24, 2025.

In the post, the actress shared a photo of herself, her daughter Priscilla, and the newborn in the delivery room.

While everybody who aw the announcement congratulated Iyabo Ojo's daughter, Priscila Ojo, and her husband, Juma Jux, the lady aw something uncomfortable in the photo shared by the actress.

She noted that the photo was hurriedly taken while Priscillia was still actively receiving medical treatment.

She wrote: “Never seen where they’d post Baby Arrival pictures when the doctors aren’t even done stitching the mum up. 😭😭😭 God Abeg.”

Her comment stirred up mixed reactions online, with some critics arguing that the photo was too personal to be shared publicly, while others defended Iyabo Ojo's right to celebrate the special moment in the manner and way she wants to.
