Reactions have followed a photo of Peter Gregory Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential elections, and David Lammy, the Labour Member of Parliament for Tottenham.
Peter Obi shared the photos on his social media handle on Wednesday, May 8.
"With the UK Labour Party MP and Shadow Foreign Secretary, @DavidLammy, after our private meeting yesterday in the House of Commons. We had very useful discussions around insecurity, education, and tackling poverty," he wrote.
Lammy describes himself as the Shadow Foreign Secretary.
His meeting with Lammy comes after he addressed a joint session of students at two universities in the United Kingdom, Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin University, where he shared ideas on βAfrican Leadershipβs Role in Fostering Global Citizenship and Social Responsibility.β
The former Anambra governor, in another post on social media, urged the Tinubu-led administration to "prioritize policies that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and job creation, while also ensuring transparency, accountability, and good governance."
