Labour Party agent challenges INEC results; provides proof

A Labour Party agent has challenged the Independent National Electoral Commission results presented for the Lagos state collection center.

During the live broadcast, the INEC REC Commissioner mentioned some figures that supposedly belongs to the Labour Party.

Immediately the Lagos state Labour Party agent refutes the results announced. According to her, the figures being mentioned did not tally with the figures she acquired at the polling unit.

When asked to provide proof of her figures, she got up, walked to the high table and showed them the stamped results gotten from the polling units.

She said that Labour Party has scored over 29,000 votes as compared to the figures presented.

The INEC officials upon realising the difference proceeded to forfeit the declaration of the local government area.

The official asked that the results be re-calculated and presented.
