LIVESTREAMING: President Buhari addresses Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari addresses Nigerians for the first time since the Lekki tollgate massacre.

His speech follows a detailed briefing he had with security chiefs on the current situation in the country.

The speech is also the first since the #EndSARS protest began nearly three weeks ago.

According to Amnesty International, 12 lost their lives after the shooting.

Since news of the shooting hit the airwaves, the European Union, Africa Union, ECOWAS, and the United Nations have all condemned the dastardly act.

Originally meant to be a peaceful protest aimed at addressing the constant harassment, extortion, bullying, and extrajudicial killings of young Nigerians by personnel of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), the events of Tuesday, October 20 could be a threat to the safety of millions of Nigerians.;
