Nigerians in the Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo states go to the polls on Saturday, November 11, 2023, to elect their governors who will represent them for the next four years.

Kogi state

Kogi state records a total of 18 governorship candidates from 18 political parties in the race to become governors.

Representing the All Progressive Congress (APC) is Ahmed Usman Ododo, with Salifu Joel, running as his deputy-governor.

Representing the Labour Party (LP) is Okeme Adejoh, with Hamza Mohammed, running as his deputy governor.

Representing the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is Melaye Daniel Dino with Muhammed Deen Habiba running as his deputy governor.

Bayelsa state

16 governorship candidates from 16 political parties are running for the seat in Bayelsa state.

Representing the APC, is Sylva Timipre Marlin, alongside his deputy governorship candidate, Maciver Joshua.

For the LP, is Eradiri Udengmobofa alongside his deputy governorship candidate, Nathus Benjamin.

For the PDP, is Diri Duoye with his deputy governorship candidate, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.

Imo state

Also in the Imo state, 17 governorship candidates from 17 political parties will be contesting for the enviable position.

Representing the APC, is the incumbent governor, Uzodinmma Odidika with Ekomaru Chinyere Ihuoma running as his deputy governor.

For the LP is Achonu Nneji, with Nwulu-Onyeulo Anthony running as his deputy governor.

For the PDP, is Anyanwu Samuel Nnaemeka, with Onyereri Chukwudi Victor Jones, running as his deputy governor.
