LASU students protest hike in school fees

The Lagos State University (LASU) students have embarked on a protest to express their displeasure in the recent hike in fees.

The group, identified as Concerned LASU Students began their protest today, January 8, 2021, following the refusal of the Students Union to call for a suspension of the increment.

The group stormed the campus streets with placards to demand a halt to the increment and revert to the old fee.

Recently, the management of LASU announced an increment in the fees for 100 level students while continuing students are to pay the existing fees.
