Abdulmumin Jibrin, a member of the House of Representatives, has disclosed that the former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, is open to the opportunity of rejoining the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Jibrin, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), explained during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday that Kwankwaso is still willing to work with President Bola Tinubu under the APC.
“As far as that [joining APC] is concerned, he has always maintained that his doors are open, our doors are open for discussions. Everything is a possibility,” Jibrin said.
Responding to a question on either he would ‘follow’ Kwankwaso if he leaves NNPP, Jibrin said he is an adult capable of making his own decisions.
