Kwankwaso escapes unhurt as hoodlums attack his convoy in Kano

Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso has been attacked by deadly hoodlums who waylayed his convoy in Kano.

The attack by the hoodlums saw two vehicles in the convoy damaged while Kwankwaso managed to escape unhurt.

Kwankwaso had just finished a meeting with the Chairman of Kano State PDP ward Congress, Governor Fintiri, Tahir's Guest House when the hoodlum attacked his convoy.

Speaking on the incident, Ibrahim Adam, the Spokesman to Abba Kabir Yusuf, 2019 PDP gubernatorial candidate, disclosed that “the leader escaped unhurt ”.

“While leaving the hotel, some hired thugs attacked the convoy of Sen. Kwankwaso and destroyed 3 cars belonging to some of our House of Assembly members”, he said.

Speaking on the congress, he added, “But, Alhamdulillah, the Congress was successful. They couldn’t achieve what they wanted to achieve.”
