Kumuyi urges govt to make palliatives real for suffering Nigerians

The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Dr. William Kumuyi, has advised the government to be sensitive and reduce the stress of suffering Nigerians, counseling those in authority to be practical in palliatives.

He also urged Nigerians not to allow themselves to be drowned in the ocean of distress occasioned by the unfavourable situations in the country, but to raise their heads, float, and be profitably engaged despite all odds.

He made the call at the Deeper Life International Conference Centre, Mowe, Ogun State, during the opening ceremony of the December edition of Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) with the theme: ‘Emmanuel;’ which commenced December 21 to run through to December 26 alongside the Youth Impact fixed for Tuesday, December 26.

Kumuyi tasked church leaders to help their needy members at this crucial time when things are hard and not just focus on evangelism and other church programmes.

“It is good we evangelise, but pastors and leaders should equally look into the problems of their members and see whatever the church can do to help them. The Church should exert its efforts and spend some of her resources in the Church to help their needy members” he said.
