Katsina State Government has announced the disbursement of over N170million for the building of drainages, school structures and provision of boreholes in 14 communities in Kankara Local Government.
The Acting General Manager, Community Social Development Projects (CSDP), Muhammed Dikko Abdullaziz, who spoke when the District Head of Ketere (Kanwa, Katsina), Alhaji Usman Bello, visited him, said the agency had been carrying out social intervention activities in districts across local governments,
He noted that only the Kanwa Katsina and district head of Ketere returned to express gratitude to the agency for the extension of such micro projects to his domain
Abdullaziz said: “Fourteen communities benefited from the micro projects; including building of new school structures with additional classes and furniture.
“There are lots of drainages and culverts built in most of the communities, including the main town of Kankara. There are also five vulnerable women groups that benefited from this scheme."
