Katsina agree to pay minimum wage after crossing Dec 31st deadline

Despite exceeding the December 31st deadline set by the Nigeria Labour Congress to commence payment of the minimum wage, the Katsina State Government and the state branch of the NLC have finally agreed on paying the newly agreed wage.

January 2020 has been earmarked for the implementation of the new wage.

This was after the Chairman of the negotiating Committee and Secretary to the State Government, Mustapha Inuwa, assented to the agreement.
