Kano is most peaceful state in Nigeria - Tinubu

Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described Kano State as the most peaceful state in Nigeria.

Tinubu who is also the former governor of Lagos state said this at his 12th Colloquium held in commemoration of his 69th birthday in Kano State on Monday.

He also lauded Governor Abdullahi Ganduje for his emmence contribution to the state especially in the area of infrastructure.

“The most peaceful state is Kano. Once you create peace, investment friendliness and investment opportunities (sic),” he said.

However, the United States and other western countries have advised their citizens to avoid travelling to Kano and 13 other states as a result of insecurity challenges.
