Just imagine where they kept our President - Nigerians react to Buhari's seating position at King Charles III coronation

Following the coronation of King Charles III of United Kingdom at the Westminster Abbey, on Saturday, May 6, there has been some reactions from social media users.

Among the photos that surfaced on social media was the photo of President Muhammadu Buhari who was present at the coronation.

The photo showed President Buhari alongside other presidents, kings and queens who had been invited to witness King Charles crowning ceremony.

However, the seating position of Buhari raised eye brows as he could barely be captured.

Some Nigerians have also taken to social media to share their thoughts on the photos which captured President Buhari in the midst of other dignitaries and looking at the ceiling.

Below are some reactions;

Chimamanda Obi: Not for once has UK ever Respected us. Just imagine where they kept our President. What an insult to us.

Oma: Were they projecting the coronation on the ceiling?

Polonium: Where do you want them to keep him?

Can't you see him looking at the roof??

Ó̩mó̩ Álátìká Adekunle Ogbonnaya: Never paying attention always disconnected from whatever is happening… funnily enough he’s always eager to jump on a plane to jet off somewhere despite adding absolutely zero value wherever that may be!

@okonkwoac: Nigerians oo How did they zoom in and spot Bubu with the minister there? Other sensible invitees re focusing on what's happening in the occasion while Mr NEPA BILL is busy looking up observing the beauty of the place is. Ask am wetin dem travel go UK go do he doesn't knw

CHIDERA: It seems the coronation is happening on the ceiling

David Praise: You guys are really operating in the dark as far as information is concerned. So what is Nigeria to Britain ???????? that will make you to have a certain level of priority? You must celebrate the fact that you were allowed to come in at all.

DIRECTRESS: Where is he supposed to be in the first place? On throne with king Charles?

Cyndi-Gold: You don't ask for Respect you earn it. We have continued to embarrass ourselves with the kind of Character we elect or select as leaders nobody takes us serious but all that will change when we elect Godd Leaders With Proven Track Records! Competent, Character and Capacity!

Mahdi Shehu: I think the seating is based on positive governance performance ranking, in which case they have been kind, generous,& benevolent to have placed him far behind. If they had consulted the UK Nig community they would have recommended him for the last back seat. He belongs there.
