Nigeria and Villareal striker couldn't hold his joy as he appreciated the support of Nigerians as his club side won the Europa League on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

The 22-year-old was omitted from the squad that faced Manchester United due to an injury he sustained in the semi-final clash against Arsenal.

In spite of his absence, the Yellow Submarine conquered their Premier League counterpart and lifted the title at the end of the overstretched encounter.

After their triumph, the winger took to social media via Instagram live broadcast from his phone to shower encomium on the fans for their support before, and after the game.

Chukwueze had started trending particularly on Twitter with many praying that he should follow in the path laid down by Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi by winning the FA Cup this term.

The enterprising attacker in his appreciation to his countrymen across the world, saying:
