JUST IN: Uzodinma declared Imo State Governor

Senator Hope Uzodinma has been declared winner of the March 19 Governorship election in Imo.

According to the verdict from the Supreme court, votes belonging to Uzodinma from 318 polling unit was unlawfully removed and added to PDP's candidate, Emeka Ihedioha.

Justice Kekere-Ekun, who read the lead judgment, declared Senator Uzodinma as the validly elected Governor and ordered that a certificate of return issued to Ihedioha be withdrawn
