Some teenagers in Benin, Edo State, came to the streets on Friday evening to protest the country's claimed inadequate security condition ahead of the June 12 Democracy Day celebration.

The enraged youngsters utilized used tires to block the ever-bustling First East Circular Road at Akpakpava Junction, impeding vehicular traffic.

One of the demonstrators was overheard suggesting that the roadblock is simply a warm-up for the main protest on Saturday.
