JAMB releases registration, exam dates for 2023 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stated that it will start registration for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from Saturday, January 14 to Tuesday, February 14.

This was made known in a statement released by JAMB's spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, on Tuesday, December 20.

Benjamin disclosed that JAMB rolled out the dates at the end of its management meeting which was held in Abuja.

He added that that the Direct Entry registration would start from Monday, February 20, to Thursday, April 20, 2023.

Also, Thursday, March 16, 2023, was fixed by the board for the conduct of its optional mock UTME, Channels TV reported.

Saturday, April 29, 2023, was fixed for the conduct of the 2023 UTME which is expected to end on Monday, May 12, 2023

Candidates will be required to pay the sum of N1000 service charge for the Computer-Based Test centres for the conduct of mock examination at the point of registration.

According to JAMB, this is to prevent a situation where candidates would show their interest to sit the mock UTME leading the various centres to commit human and material resources only for them to stay away on the day of the examination.
