Priscilla, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has concluded her months-long wedding festivities with Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux. The grand finale of the couple’s elaborate celebrations took place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, the groom’s home country.

Themed, ‘African Royal Wedding’, the event was filled with vibrant and memorable moments from the arrival of guests to the lively after-party. The bride and groom, visibly excited, were the centre of attention as they celebrated the culmination of their wedding journey.

Before the ceremony began, the groom expressed his joy at the turnout of guests who travelled from far and wide.

“The day is here. I am so happy and excited. I believe everybody is ready. I am saying that because today, we received over 150 foreigners in Tanzania because of JP2025,” he said.

For the ceremony, the couple stepped out in matching outfits. Priscilla stunned in a flowing white gown adorned with intricate designs, while Juma matched her in a crisp white coat and a matching cap.

The mother of the bride, Iyabo, turned heads in a dazzling gold outfit. She offered heartfelt words of advice to the couple during the ceremony. Iyabo was joined by friends, including popular actress, Funke Akindele, who travelled from Lagos to attend. A humorous moment from the event went viral when Akindele introduced herself to the groom in her signature funny accent.

The celebration continued with a colourful reception. For the occasion, Priscilla changed into a stylish pink gown, while Juma coordinated in a pink and black outfit. At the reception, Juma serenaded his bride with soulful Tanzanian songs, setting a romantic tone.

As the festivities drew to a close, Juma led Priscilla and the guests outside for a surprise. In an emotional moment, he presented his bride with a brand-new Range Rover. The gift left Priscilla visibly moved, while her mother, Iyabo, proudly hailed the groom, repeatedly calling him “Odogwu.”

The event later transitioned into an energetic after-party where the newlyweds and their guests danced and celebrated well into the night.

The couple had earlier kicked off their wedding journey on February 7, 2025, with a traditional Tanzanian ceremony. This was followed by a civil wedding, also held in Tanzania. They later hosted a series of celebrations in Nigeria before returning to Tanzania for the grand finale.
