This may not be the best of times for Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi after his home was burgled and valuables estimated at £500,000 were stolen from him.
According to Daily Sports, the Nigerian international was allegedly held at knifepoint by the attackers during the incident.
The attackers made away with several valuable items, including wristwatches, jewelry, two iPhones, and a MacBook laptop. An estimated £200,000 in cash was also said to have been stolen.
Authorities are reportedly investigating the incident.
Recall that Iwobi was in action for Fulham at the weekend as the Cottagers defeated Burnley 3-1 in the Premier League.
