It's funny to watch Obidients believe Peter Obi will soon reclaim his stolen mandate and become President – Reno Omokri jabs

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has taken a swipe at supporters of Peter Obi (Obidients), the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, Reno said it is funny to watch Obididents believe Peter Obi will reclaim his stolen mandate.

Following the end of the 2023 general election, Peter Obi of LP and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) are challenging the outcome of the polls that produced Bola Tinubu as the winner and President.

It is known that Peter Obi has indicated plans to contest the results and reclaim his stolen mandate.

However, Reno Omokri has since made mockery of his decision. According to him, his supporters are still convinced that he will win the election petition and be pronounced as President of Nigeria by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

He added that the person the Obidients are putting their trust in, is addressing Tinubu as Mr President.

He wrote;

"It is so funny to watch Obidients believing the delusion that Peter Obi will soon reclaim his stolen mandate and be pronounced by INEC as the President of Nigeria. Meanwhile, the Peter Obi they are placing all their hopes on is addressing Bola Tinubu as the President and Mr President.

To put this in perspective, that is just like Ronaldo's fans saying he is the GOAT, only for Ronaldo himself to use his mouth to say Messi is the Greatest of All Time.
