It's fabrication to stop me from becoming king - Ezeani denies being native doctor, ritualist

Ezeani Ezeani

A suspected ritualist in Enugu State, Ezeani, has denied being a native doctor, just as he revealed that the allegations against him are all politically motivated.

Ezeani was recently arrested while allegedly attempting to flee from Nigeria through the border at Seme after he was exposed for dumping corpses of his alleged victims in a soakaway in his house.

In a viral video on social media after he was arrested, Ezeani stated that he's a businessman living in Benin Republic and not a native doctor.

He said the allegations against him were fabrications designed to stop him from being the next king of his village.

"The issue is political and a fabrication against me because I'm next to be king, but some people in my village don't want me to be the king. They are planting evil on my path for me to fall. That's the major issue," he said.

When asked why his house was demolished, he said, "Because they are the ones who planted something that is disturbing me,

"Because of this kingship issue, they set me up with someone who is working for them, who planted a dead body in the soakaway in my house:

Meanwhile, an officer of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Prince Orji Ugochukwu, reportedly rejected offers of N10m plus expensive phones from Ezeani.

Someone close to Ugochukwu called him on the phone, and he narrated to MUN what transpired.

He said, “On Wednesday afternoon, while discharging my duty at my checkpoint in gbaji along Seme road, I saw bike carrying a young man, who was wearing a face cap, his face flashed back in me, because I got an information about the man trying to escape plus his picture that had been going viral on social media, so I tried to stop the bike carrying him but he refused to stop. So I quickly hopped on another bike and followed him immediately, and I caught him at the other immigration checkpoint in front/

"So I ordered the bike man carrying him to turn back, but this time I entered the bike together with him. On our way back to my checkpoint, he stopped the bike and started asking me what he had done. I brought out my phone and showed him his pictures and the crime he committed. He denied that the person in the picture was his brother and not him, that he was coming back from bank in Agbara, and that he is not a native doctor. After some time, he decided to offer me 10 million naria (blood money) to let him go, I refused to collect his blood money. He said that he never committed those crimes, that people set him up, because it was his turn to become the Igwe of their community.

"I refuse to let him go, he further added his iPhone 13 promax and Tecno Camon 19. He said that his iPhone 13 promax worth a million naria and that I should please let him go, but I refused his offer and forced him back to my checkpoint at gbaji Seme road. Then I snapped those pictures which went viral online, and sent the signal to my command which is Seme border patrol command. When I confirmed that he was truly the one. I quickly handcuff him and moved him to our command head office immediately. Even my colleagues were doubting because nobody recognised him except me."
